Answers:

How many schools are in your database?
Around 1400 in total and around 750 with known web sites.

How up to date is the Idiom Site?
I periodically run link checking software to test the links including the schools' web sites. I don't monitor any changes made by schools to their details.

Why isn't the order of the schools alphabetical?
When a school updates their entry, they get the opportunity to enter the course types they run. When this is done, they appear at the top of the lists not only because it is colourful, but it also means that the school has entered a useful description of itself etc.

What do you know about the quality of the schools?
Through my experience I know some schools which are good and some which are less so. So much depends on the teacher and the general attitude in the school. There are a few organisations which certify schools for quality. The Idiom Site does not attempt to make such a distinction between schools. All students strongly advised to research further any school they may visit.

I know a great school which isn't listed...
Please, tell the school to visit The Idiom Site and contact me!

How many visitors does the Idiom Site get?
Loads!

Why do you bother working on the Idiom Site?
It has been a kind of on and off obsession. It was the first site I wrote. Over the years I have written quite a few web sites. I intend to launch my online teaching system soon.
